“Emma Rai Chambless has after school alone today. Michaela wrecked the church van. :/” That was my status. And a young man I went to high school with who is known for his openess to bash Christians commented on my status. He asked me if any Christians died. I simply replied, “No. No one died.” And was going to leave it at that, no matter if he responded back or not. Well, he wrote on my wall and said, “shame.” Needless to say, I was a bit angry. But I immediately began to pray for this boy and the condition of his heart. I then replied to his wall post. I wrote, “Actually, we are very thankful for it.” And that’s where I left that. I changed my status to “Emma Rai Chanbless is praying for lost souls.” He changed his status to ‘[name] is hoping for lost souls.’ I thought about why he does things like that. And maybe it’s because he wants to get a rise out of others and make them angry, or maybe it’s so he can have the last word and feel like he’s overcome or even belittled someone. If it’s the first one, sorry bubba. I kept my cool. And if it’s the second, I’ve got some news for him. In the end, my God will have the last word!!
